Mark June 3, 2025 in your calendar for the 3rd Emma Center for Personalized Medicine symposium, titled “Personalized Medicine: Beyond Borders. This year's theme focuses on collaboration - from local and regional to national and international levels. Don't miss the latest on collaboration in personalized medicine! 

The event will take place in lecture hall 4 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., followed by the Spinoza lecture of Prof. Anne Goriely.

Emma yearbook 2025

The theme of the 2025 Emma Yearbook from the Emma Children’s Hospital focuses on the "Emma Center for Personalized Medicine." In this publication, many of our colleagues share insights into their work and their passion for caring for children with rare diseases.

Our achievements in 2024

In 2024, our multidisciplinary team at Amsterdam UMC grew with the addition of 19 researchers and doctors (11 FTE). Over 65 publications were released. We organized 32 meetings to foster connections, accelerate progress, and drive innovation. In our annual report, you can see what we achieved last year, thanks in part to the sector funding from the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science (OCW).

Monthly meeting focused on identifying and unraveling new disease genes, phenotypes, and mechanisms.

Every 1st tuesday of the month 8.30 - 9.30 hours

Therapy Discovery Club

Monthly meeting focused on the development of personalized therapy, as well as accelerating trials and access.

Every 3rd tuesday of the month 12 -13 hours
